Yes. WhatsApp or call us and we’ll confirm the exact boot dimensions for your car and quote separately. Boot mat pricing depends on the vehicle — message us with your car details and we’ll sort it.

The front + middle row bundle (₹6,300) covers driver’s mat, front passenger mat, and middle row mat(s). The full set (₹7,500) adds the boot/dicky mat. Most customers who want to properly finish the interior choose the full set.

We begin weaving after confirming your order and receiving payment. Once production has started, we can’t cancel. If you need to change your car details or weave choice before production begins, contact us immediately via WhatsApp and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.

Fit & Sizing

We confirm fit before we weave anything. Share your car make, model, year, and variant (fuel type, trim level, body type). We check our database and confirm in minutes. If we can’t confirm fit, we tell you before you pay. If it arrives and doesn’t fit, we remake it at no cost — no questions asked.

Share your car make, model, year, and a photo of your RC book. We’ll identify your exact variant from that and confirm the fit ourselves. You don’t need to know the variant — just tell us what you drive.

We hold confirmed interior measurements for 400+ models sold in India — hatchbacks, sedans, crossovers, SUVs, MUVs, and EVs from Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Honda, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Kia, and more. If your model isn’t in our database, we’ll request your footwell dimensions or a template tracing and create a custom pattern.

Yes. All Nerova mats have anti-slip backing on the underside — the only rubber in the product is where it’s actually needed. The surface you see and touch is 100% natural sisal.

Place them flat on the car floor aligned with your footwell. Most Nerova mats work with standard OEM floor clip points. If your car has a specific clip or hook system, let us know when ordering and we’ll cut the mat to accommodate it.

It’s the best choice for a premium car. Natural sisal was used in Porsche, Mercedes, and other European luxury vehicles through most of the twentieth century — specifically because it adds warmth and texture that rubber and plastic cannot match. Our customers drive BMWs, C-Classes, and XUV700s. The consistent feedback: the mat is what the interior was missing.

Materials & Care

Daily / weekly: Remove the mat from the car, take it outside, and shake it firmly. The woven structure releases trapped dust and grit on its own. This is all most people need to do most of the time.

Deeper clean (monthly or as needed): Lay the mat flat on a hard surface and beat it firmly — a wooden stick or the back of a broom works well. This dislodges embedded particles. Then vacuum with a brush attachment, moving in the direction of the weave. Wipe visible surface marks with a barely damp cloth. Let dry completely before returning to the car.

Never do: Don’t soak the mat. Don’t machine wash. Don’t use wet mops or steam cleaners. Don’t fold it when wet.

Brief moisture is fine — your shoes bring in rain, that’s expected and normal. If the mat gets heavily soaked (spilled drink, standing water, etc.): remove it from the car, shake off excess water, and lay it flat in a shaded, well-ventilated spot to dry. Do not fold it while wet. Once fully dry, it will return to its original shape without smell or damage. Sisal is a field-grown natural fibre — it handles outdoor conditions better than most people expect.

No — sisal is naturally odourless. There are no rubber compounds, adhesive treatments, or synthetic coatings in the weave. When dry, there is no smell. When damp, there may be a faint natural fibre smell (like fresh linen or straw) which disappears completely once dry. This is not a defect — it’s what natural materials do. It’s nothing close to the persistent chemical smell of rubber mats.

vs Coir: Coir (coconut fibre) sheds, frays at edges, and emits a strong smell when wet. It’s coarser and harsher underfoot. It’s also structurally weaker — the mat deteriorates within a year or two of regular use.

vs Jute: Jute degrades quickly in humid conditions — a real problem in Indian weather. It absorbs odours and doesn’t hold its structure under regular foot traffic.

vs Wool: Wool mats pill and flatten. They trap moisture, leading to mildew in humid climates. They’re also animal-derived and significantly more expensive with a shorter useful life.

Sisal wins on: dust-trapping capacity, odour resistance, durability, aesthetics, and end-of-life biodegradability. It’s the one natural fibre that actually improves with a car use case.

Rubber mats have a solid or slightly textured surface. Dust and grit that lands on rubber doesn’t stay there — it’s pushed around by foot movement and redistributed across your footwell and cabin floor.

Sisal has a woven loop structure. When your foot lands, grit and fine particles drop into the weave micro-pockets and stay trapped. They don’t bounce, they don’t migrate, and they don’t get kicked up every time you open the door. To clean, you lift the mat and shake — the particles fall out. Rubber requires vacuuming of the entire footwell area because the dust is everywhere.

Sisal develops a natural patina over time rather than degrading. The colour may deepen slightly and the texture will settle, but this makes it look more considered, not worse. It does not pill, peel, crack, or bleach out under UV exposure the way rubber and carpet mats do. With proper care — regular shaking and occasional deep cleaning — a Nerova mat will last 5+ years.

Boucle: Looped weave. Cushioned feel underfoot, refined and quiet texture. Works in almost any car interior without drawing too much attention. Softer than Tiger Eye.

Tiger Eye: Tighter diagonal weave with a distinctive grain. The most popular weave — excellent dust-trapping, sharper look. Slightly firmer underfoot. The one most people choose when they want the mat to be noticed.

Tiger Eye Chunky: Same diagonal weave as Tiger Eye but with thicker yarn. Bolder relief, heavier feel, maximum visual presence. Best for larger cars (SUVs, MUVs) where the floor area benefits from a more substantial texture.

Delivery & Returns

Every mat is woven after your order is confirmed. Production takes 3–5 business days; shipping adds 2–3 more. Most customers receive their mats within 5–7 business days of payment. We share WhatsApp tracking the moment the order ships.

Yes, pan-India shipping is included at no extra cost. We ship to all states and union territories. For remote areas or islands, please WhatsApp us first — delivery timelines may vary.

We remake it. No charge. No courier cost. No return forms. We’ll send you a replacement cut to the correct dimensions once you confirm the issue on WhatsApp. This is the Nerova Fit Guarantee and it is unconditional.

Contact us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of receiving the order, with photos or an unboxing video showing the damage. We’ll arrange a free replacement immediately. We use robust packaging to prevent transit damage, but if it happens, we make it right.

Every mat is custom-made to order for your specific car, so we can’t accept change-of-mind returns. If there is a manufacturing defect or fit issue, we replace it free. If you believe there’s a quality concern, WhatsApp us with photos — we’ll assess it and sort it.

Gifting

It’s one of the most considered gifts you can give someone with a car. It’s not something most people buy for themselves, which makes it more meaningful when received. It’s practical, premium, and immediately visible every time they get in the car. Customers regularly order for fathers, husbands, wives, and friends — and the feedback is consistently that it was the most memorable car-related gift they’ve received.

Yes. Nerova mats come in premium packaging by default. If you’re gifting, WhatsApp us and we’ll add a personalised handwritten message card — no extra charge. We can also wrap the box with a ribbon if requested. Message us before placing your order to arrange it.

Two options: (1) WhatsApp us with the recipient’s name and car details if you know the make and model — we’ll confirm the variant. (2) Purchase a gift card or ‘gifting credit’ for the recipient and they can provide their own car details when redeeming. Message us on WhatsApp to discuss the option that works best for your situation.

The most common occasions: birthdays (especially for car enthusiasts), Father’s Day, anniversaries, new car gifts, house-warming presents for someone who just bought a new vehicle, and corporate gifting. We’ve also had customers gift them after road trips, or as a ‘thank you’ gift to someone who drives them often. The occasion matters less than the thoughtfulness.

Yes. We’ve fulfilled bulk orders for corporate gifts, client appreciation, and fleet upgrades. Pricing is discussed based on volume, car models, and weave requirements. WhatsApp or email us at rohitfrancis@nerova.co with your requirements and we’ll come back to you within 24 hours.
