Nerova uses only natural, plant-based fibres. No synthetics. No rubber. No compromise.
Sisal Fibre
All Nerova mats are made from 100% natural sisal — extracted from the Agave sisalana plant. Sisal is exceptionally strong, naturally anti-static, resistant to abrasion, hypoallergenic, and biodegradable. It is stronger than cotton, more durable than wool, and does not harbour dust mites.
The Three Weaves
Origin Collection — Bouclé Weave
A flat, tightly-looped weave. Smooth, uniform, understated. The most refined expression of natural sisal. Available in Tobacco (warm brown) and Silver Grey.
Apex Collection — Tiger Eye Sisal
A medium-textured structured weave that catches light directionally. Architectural and contemporary. Available in Kari (deep charcoal) and Sahara (warm sand).
Ragnar Collection — Tiger Eye Chunky
A thick, chunky-loop weave with pronounced three-dimensional texture. The most substantial mat in the Nerova range — deeply tactile and engineered for long-term wear. Available in Pochi (natural undyed sisal).
Natural Felt Backing
Every Nerova mat is backed with dense compressed natural felt. No rubber, no adhesives, no synthetic binders. The felt provides floor grip, noise dampening, and carpet protection — naturally.
Border Binding
Each mat is finished with a hand-stitched cotton binding in a complementary neutral tone — a detail that distinguishes Nerova from machine-cut alternatives.
Care
- Vacuum with suction only — no rotating brush
- Spot clean with a damp cloth, air dry
- Do not machine wash, soak, or tumble dry
- Avoid steam cleaning
